Love/Hate Paleo

In response to Jonson's recent blog, and coincidentally, thats what i wanted to write today!

During Paleo:-

Like:-

1. Tasted REAL food instead of instant and artificial items made of chemicals;
2. Meals are kept simple and fresh, with less seasoning;
3. Black coffee actually tastes quite good after a while, well, perhaps not served as the first cuppa in the morning though;
4. I feel lighter and less bloated;
5. Perform not too bad in all wods during these 3 weeks; and
6. I do feel energetic at all times (proven as i only slept 3.5 hours on tuesday night and stayed away on wednesday for 20+ hours).

Don't Like:-

1. Tired of eating meat as soy are prohibited and eggs are limited;
2. No milk for my coffee in the morning;
3. Difficult to eat out at times;
4. No desserts; and
5. Emmmmmmmmm............. can't think of any.

Post Paleo:-

1. Definately zone instead of paleo (must go grocery shopping with Cris so that he can teach me how to guage the quantity);
2. Ditch the instant coffee mix and get real coffee powder with milk;
3. Eat more tofu, eggs and cheese instead of meat;
4. Nuts taste good, shall continue with that;
5. Frequent dessert intake are to be replaced with fruits; and
6. ALWAYS remember there are a group of supportive Paleo Pals who go through this 30-days phase with me in October 2009!
